Dr. Wafa Elias studied urban and regional planning at the Technion University in Haifa (Israel). She participated in many studies in the field of traffic behavior, road safety and bsustainability and safety in transport. The study of gender differences and changes in traffic behavior patterns of children and drivers plays an important role in her research. She is the author of a number of publications devoted to traffic behavior and road safety.
