Dr. Ing. Eva Štěrbová

Eva Štěrbová specializes in sustainable transport, mobility, and smart urban development. She has experience both in drafting strategic documents and in the practical implementation of measures in the field of sustainable transport – ranging from support for public transport to cycling and walking.

She regards the integration of walking, cycling, and public transport as a fundamental component of urban transport planning, a way to enhance residents’ quality of life, and a means of creating public spaces that are safe, welcoming, and functional for everyday life. In her work, she combines an analytical approach with a strong understanding of the real needs of residents and local governments, striving for solutions that are long-term, comprehensible, and practically feasible. She places particular emphasis on active mobility as a natural part of the city—one that supports health, social interaction, and the local economy, while strengthening urban resilience to climate and societal challenges.
