Guidelines for evaluation of sustainable urban mobility

The presented methodology provides local and regional governments with guidelines for the evaluation of transport policies and strategies, as well as partial transport measures. It is adapted to the needs of cities and regions of the Czech Republic, reflects the latest knowledge on the issue of transport planning towards the development of sustainable mobility and modern approaches to evaluation. The methodology also deals with the role and procedure of evaluation in the preparation and implementation of Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (so-called SUMPs). The methodology is supplemented by a web-based tool PLUMM to assist in the selection and evaluation of suitable transport measures.
